Green - LEED ND Pilot Program

The LEED for Neighborhood Development (ND) Pilot Program was developed through a partnership of the U.S. Green Building Council, Congress for New Urbanism, and the Natural Resources Defense Council.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green building standards in the U.S.

EBL&S has committed to obtaining LEED ND certification for its future master developments, and joins some of the nation's most progressive designers, urban planners, environmentalists, and developers in moving forward this new category of certification. As a member of the ND Pilot Program, EBL&S is in the company of a group of 200 project developers, worldwide, who are currently sharing resources, best practices, and commentary as each aims to develops area-changing, LEED-certified neighborhoods.
